Grandma says good things come to those who wait, and her Chickpea Masala recipe is worth it. First, we soak raw chickpeas in batches overnight, then boil them to make sure they're soft and plump. Next, we roast and grind our own fresh spices, tomatoes, and onions to flavor our delicious sauce. Finally we add the chickpeas to the sauce and simmer until our labor of love is complete!

Chickpea Masala
COOKING DIRECTIONS
MICROWAVE
MICROWAVE
  1. Puncture film 3 times.
  2. Microwave for 4 minutes on high. Let sit for 2 minutes.
  3. Peel back film and stir gently before enjoying.
DEEP FRY
  1. Defrost samosa in microwave oven (1100 watts) on high setting. ( 2 pieces - 1 min. 10 sec. Or 4 pieces - 1 min. 50 sec.).
  2. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Microwave chutney pouch for about 15 seconds. Cut open pouch, stir, and serve with samosas.
